The artist presents two watercolor seminars this Fall or Winter.

We receive many requests to offer a watercolor seminar. For practical business reasons, a seminar is not possible without a minimum of six participants and traditionally when we announce a seminar for every reason under the rainbow those who have shown interest are not able to attend and the seminar dies from lack of commitment.

As a solution to this dilemma we will try to pre-register two watercolor seminars to be held at the artist's studio/Gallery. When we have a minimum of six pre-registrants in either group, official dates and times will be announced but in the mean time the following are the details. These seminars are not guaranteed to make and no fees or tuition is required for preregistration

The Watercolor Seminars will take place on two consecutive Saturdays from 9 am to 4pm -- a light lunch will be provided.

Beginning Watercolor (for the beginner or inexperienced watercolorist) -- Cost: $400.00

The two days will be broken into four sections, a supply list will be provided.

Section 1 -- Supplies and Materials, Good Work Habits, Color and Value

Section 2 -- Composition, Sketching, Watercolor technique, Planning a painting

Section 3 -- Common elements of painting landscapes

Section 4 -- Common elements of painting people

Advanced Watercolor - no beginner's please -- Cost: $500.00

The two days will be broken into four sections, a supply list will be provided.

Section 1 -- Training the eye to look for watercolor magic

Section 2 -- Matching watercolor colors and value to what you see.

Section 3 -- Local versus Ambient Color

Section 4 -- Creating the "WOW" Factor
