| For the first time since 1896 the Rio Grande Valley of Texas experienced a snowfall in December. It arrived Christmas Day to include everyone in their first "White Christmas." I happened to be visiting the Rio Grande Valley Christmas '04 and the above is the view looking South from Benson Road very near the childhood home of Texas Senator Loyd Benson.
