What I found very interesting with this painting is that it clearly demonstrates the difference between a "realistic" painting and a photograph. In Step Thirteen, I compare the "go-by" photograph with the painting and point out their many differences. Those differences come from the vision of the artist compared to the vision of the photographer. Both see and communicate through their mediums very different things. | ||||||
