Bring it all together...

As I said in Step 8, a painting needs to progress totally, together. If any element is completed early, it often appears disjointed in the finished work.

To the right, I am in the process of bringing it all together. The shell's shadow has been developed to the same stage as the shell. Many of the marbles have progessed with the exception of those on your right under the shadow of the shell and to the far right. I am now painting those items to equal finish as the shell itself.

That done, below is the shell. On the left the shell as it is now and on the right, the shell further developed (post when completed).
