| Painting demonstrations... I am a firm believer that in art there is no such thing as the "right" way or the "correct" way to do a painting. What you will be watching by following this series is only "my way." Explore and find "your way." Couple of things first: I identify products that I use by brand name, but not as an endorsement. In all cases there are competing products that will do, I am sure, an equally good job. Or, there are competing products that fit your style of painting better than those I choose. Products that I name are only my choices of the moment. Supplies are like painting itself - experimentation is good. But buyer beware, not all are even acceptable. How this is organized: To the right and on following pages are my demonstrations. More will be posted as I complete them. The demonstrations will be titled the same as the painting's final title. Step One and Step Two on all demonstrations are the same, in common steps which are preparation and materials. If you have already read the first two steps on a previous demo, skip to step three which begins each individual painting's demonstration. Thank you. Back to Gallery One . Click for Home Page.
